Content switches
Content switches, web-switches, content service switches, application-switches, layer 4-7 switches. They all have in common the fact that they are able to apply up to OSI layer 7 packet data. Content switches are usually used for load balancing in the cases of HTTP , HTTPS or any other application that uses a peculiar port. This kind of service, load balancing, sometimes involves NAT. This can become a flow sometimes ,because there are sorts of application which require the same kind of operation applied several times by the user be directed to the same application server. Since the user is not aware of what that server is about, the program can become irritating.
